About Me...

I am a senior majoring in Journalism and Strategic Communications with a minor in Sociology at Elon University in Elon, North Carolina, born and raised a New Jersey girl.

 

I am the Social Media Manager and Multimedia Journalist for Elon News Network, The Lead Social Media Scholar Intern for the Doherty Center for Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Oak Originals, and a PACE Social Media Assistant for the Office of Cultural and Special Programs.

My Experience

 

As a Creative Production Intern with NBCUniversal’s TV Entertainment Networks, SYFY and Oxygen, I worked with various Entertainment teams ranging from Brand Marketing, Social Marketing, and Creative Production.

 

As a Social Media Marketing Intern for Media A La Carte, I conducted digital PR and social media for several clients, assisted in account growth, researched viral trends, and built content calendars and analytics reports.

 

I have managed Social Media for six different organizations at Elon University, creating content calendars and strategies, managing teams and developing brand voice.

 

I have experience with graphic design, photography, and film working with various Adobe Creative Cloud Platforms.

Career Aspirations

With strong passions for music, theater, and the arts, I spent much time singing and performing and doing dance photography and promotional videos for cultural events.

 

My goal is to enter the lifestyle/entertainment news reporting field or run social media for a large entertainment, lifestyle, or company/news outlet.
